The Website and App (www.vidhikapp.com and Vidhik App Android Mobile Phone App), along with all associated software, design, servers, data, user inputs and associated services shall collectively be known as the “Platform”. The services we provide to you via the Platform shall be known as the “Services”. The privacy statement is to demonstrate our commitment to protect your privacy and to fully disclose what information we collect and how we use it.
We understand the need for Privacy and respect your privacy rights. Vidhik App craves to provide a better user experience and help manage cases efficiently than before and online. A single update when shared can keep attorneys, attorney associates and clients on the same page with real-time updates. Thus sharing of case details amongst the Litigant, advocates and associated advocates brings in ease of communication and avoid misinformation or missing appearances and outstation legal matters. The advocate undertakes not to share the case details with any third party other than their practice group and follow best professional ethics. The Litigant agrees and understands that the case details may get shared by the advocate with it as well as advocate’s associates for ease of managing and tracking such cases/legal matters.
The Platform provides two databases of users, i.e., first database of practicing advocates and another database for practicing professionals related to and associated with the legal profession. The user can manage its public profile and provide information that he/she/it may feel for public view and not to enter information that is confidential in nature.
Payment information: Our Services require you to make payments on the Platform. When you are making any payments, we collect billing details from you such as your name, name of company, billing address, contact number, payment method and IP address, and then redirect you to a secure payment service provider platform operated by payments partner(s) Razorpay, PhonePe, Paytm etc., and other payment partners whichever the Platform uses from time to time. We do not store any payment related information such as credit/debit card details and/or bank details.
The Vidhik App takes all steps to maintain the confidentiality of any information and data submitted by Users. The confidential information means information which is entered in the Applications in relation to technical, business plans, models, ideas, maps, drawings, trade secrets, or contemplated services, research and developments, costs, profit and production or any other information regardless of whether such information is designated as Confidential information at the time of its disclosure. However, the Users are advised not to enter in the Applications any information which they believe to be confidential in nature. The User Profile shall be searched and viewed by the public through a Database Search as provided in the Applications.
The Vidhik App shall take all necessary precautions to protect Confidential Information of Users of the applications, Service Provider shall limit the disclosure of Confidential Information within its own organization to its officers, partners, employees, interns and/or independent contractors (hereinafter referred to as “Representatives”) on a need-to-know basis only. Neither the Service Provider nor its representatives will disclose such confidential information to any third party obtained from the disclosure. However, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.
